Cresciuto nei cinematografi in una famiglia di cinefili, si innamora del cinema dopo aver visto Effetto notte al teatro greco di Taormina. Lavora nel mondo della ricerca e della clinica rimarcando puntualmente le affinità fra psicoanalisi e cinema attraverso numerose pubblicazioni. Rispolvera nel 2001 le sue conoscenze cinematografiche per delle lezioni di psicopatolog
ia montando a scopo didattico e terapeutico le riprese dei suoi registi preferiti divenuti suoi “operatori di macchina”, costruendo dei film a tema, prevalentemente psicoanalitici, e mescolando frames, colonne sonore e sceneggiature. Amante delle donne come Truffaut, delle automobili da corsa come Lelouch, ossessionato dalle riprese di Kubrick, dalle immagini di Greenaway, dallo sguardo di Wenders, profondamente convinto che ormai tutte le riprese siano state già fatte, aderisce nel 2009 al linguaggio del mushup con performance dal vivo e movie dj setting (“moviestars”) di un certo successo. Grew up in the cinema in a family of cinephiles, Luna fell in love with film after seeing “Day for Night” at the Greek Theatre in Taormina. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery, mastering in Psychiatry. He went on to work in the field of research and clinical therapy, regurarly noting the affinities between psychoanalysis and the cinema in various pubblications. He dusted off his knowledge of the cinema in 2001 for a series of lectures in psychopathology, screening ,with a didactic and therapeutic view, cuts from the works of his favourite directors, his “ghost machine operators”, creating films to a theme, mixing frames, soundtracks and screenplays. A lover of women like Truffaut, of sports cars like Lelouch, obsessed by the perspectives of Kubrick, by the images of Greenaway, by the gaze of Wenders; by now profoundly convinced that every take has been shot and every shot has been taken he adheres in 2009 to the language of mushup with live performances and film DJing (“moviestars”), with a certain success.
