Dear reader,

We hear you! What’s the difference between a script and a treatment? And most importantly, which do you need to submit?

The script is the life and breath of the story: What does the character say? What are their actions? How do they express emotions? What happens to them?

The treatment is the seasoning to the story: What’s your ideal cast for your characters? What do they wear? What are your ideal settings for your scenes? What do you really want to say with your story?

Describe both as best you can. Think of the details. Refine your language.

For ease of submission, we’ve parked the script section WITHIN our treatment template, so your script sits right in the middle of your treatment. All you have to do fill it up and submit it.

We’ve also included a guide and a treatment sample to help you craft your story.
