The Flow of Light Brushes the Shadow is featured today on Jörg Colberg's Conscientious photoblog article The Unassuming Photobook. This artist book is tucked in the middle of the stack, with the tattle-tale loose ends of the waxed Irish linen used to pamphlet stitch sneaking out of the frame.

Great interview about The Flow of Light Brushes the Shadow just published on One Twelve.

I found the book a compelling hybrid of the handmade and the commercially printed. Stockdale takes us along with him on his travels, literally and metaphorically, allowing us to experience his highly personal journey.

Wow. What results from a successful pre-publication book sale? Delivery of the litho offset color interior text blocks. Next step: start printing my part of this hybrid artist book and pamphlet stitching the whole book together. We am still on track for an official September 1st launch date for The Flow of Light Brushes the Shadow. Cool!

Honored that an Artist Special Edition of Stockdale's new book, The Flow of Light Brushes the Shadow, is being acquired by the Frick Fine Art's Library at the University of Pittsburgh.

Which also means that there are just a couple of copies of this Artist Special Edition are still available ($100 pre-publication price, plus CA taxes), so message Douglas if you are interested. Does not appear that any of these will probably be available in the fall.

Awesome News! The Flow of Light Brushes the Shadow will be published by Singular Images Press in Fall 2022. (photo of book-dummy cover). Investigates anxiety for mental health awareness and our first title.

We are starting a pre-publication sale. Artist book (hand-bound by Douglas Stockdale that incorporates a signed archival pigment print) and an Artist Special Edition that has another separate archival pigment print, which is signed and numbered by Stockdale.

We are happy to support Stockdale's long term personal project and help it see the light of day.
