. here's a moment in time - Wood was my first featured guest on the show .. I have had the chance to record him in various venues and included the recordings in this, his 3rd appearance on the show in 2013..

.. as we close in on the July set of dates we welcome the songwriters that will be joining us this trip up to Cleveland. We have set up two songwriters nights and a couple of rounds Saturday afternoon.
. starting on July 8th celebrating our 3rd season with a Music City Monday at the Front St Social in Berea and then on July 11th in the Tangled Vine Writers Room. We wrap up the Weekend with two afternoon rounds at the 1st Tangled Vine Patio Party … 10 rounds of songwriters and we take the time to introduce you to the crew and what they like to do …

. we turn the corner on 2024 and plans are forming for 2025.

Joe’s Weekend in Cleveland is rolling through it’s 3rd season and with all the changes it still remains the same .. giving the songwriters of Northeast Ohio an opportunity to showcase their material and share the story behind their songs. It all starts with club owners supporting original music and writer rounds followed by a great group of songwriters spending their time to support the shows. It has taken a little while to grab hold and it has .. we now have three writers nights and a round in the afternoon with a list of songwriters now large enough that we can’t fit them all in on one weekend and now can add a venue or two.

The Weekend in Cleveland event has also opened the door to bring the songs to a full band to be in the produced stage to have the material ready to be pitched. The bar is set pretty high but not too high. The music industry works everyday and there is a big song right now in the middle of a stage that will bring it to great heights… it happens all the time.

With plans brewing for the 2025 season, we hope to bring new opportunities for the excellent songwriting talent from Joe’s home town of Cleveland Ohio. If you would like to be part of a scheduled round please contact JJK Studios at [email protected]
