PRESS RELEASE
CRIME ALERT
Parker County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a subject in connection with fleeing from deputies.
Parker County Sheriff Russ Authier said deputies attempted a traffic stop July 15, in the 6400-Block of Mineral Wells Highway on a 2012 Kawasaki KX450 green dirt bike with no license plate. The driver ignored the lights and siren of deputies, refusing to pull over, further leading them in a vehicle pursuit until the driver abandoned the bike and fled on foot near Mike Thornton Court and Mineral Wells Highway at the Patriots Outpost subdivision. The driver then jumped several fences into backyards of residences on Bruce Crandall Court, heading west where deputies lost sight of the suspect.
Several days later, a resident contacted the sheriff’s office after they noted images on home security footage of a man matching the description of the suspect who fled from deputies. Deputies confirmed it was the same suspect of the felony evading case that occurred earlier that week.
Deputies noted the bike was not reported stolen and the registered owner of the bike returned to a California address.
The driver is described as a being a white male, 25 to 34 years-of-age, having a medium build, standing approximately 5-feet-8 to 5-feet 11-inches tall, weighing approximately 175 to 190-pounds, having short, light brown hair and a beard, wearing a solid blue/green T-shirt, denim knee-length shorts, black and white running shoes and a red bandana on his head. Deputies believe the suspect got rid of the bandana before he was captured on the home security recording.
Anyone who can identity or knows the location of the subject in the included photo is encouraged to contact the Parker County Sheriff’s Office at (817) 594-8845. You may remain anonymous when contacting Parker County Crime Stoppers at (817) 599-5555. Only Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
