From the Palm Springs Scanner Archives of 2022....
SCE Transformer Exploding at 3:45am this morning, July 15, 2022. Captured on our Palm Springs Web Cam. The fire was limited to the SCE box and some trees. No reports of any injuries. The explosion was on Ramon Road west of Sunrise. This video was taken from one of the Palm Springs Scanner cams located at Ramon Road and Ave Caballeros near downtown Palm Springs.
