Our most recent episode was on the theme of Groundhog day. Naturally, the Bill Murray movie was brought up. Here's one of the questions, with the answer:

Before casting Bill Murray for the lead role in Groundhog Day, which other actor was the top choice?

Was it:
A.) Gary Busey
B.) Tom Hanks
C.) Bill Pullman
D.) Joseph Sommer

Correct answer: B. Tom Hanks. He was the first choice of director Harold Ramis, but was eventually passed over for Bill Murray as he was considered to be “too nice” to play a shallow, self-centered, jerk. Let's face it, the guy who's early career included Bachelor Party, and Big is just not believable as a total do**he.

Now you have another tidbit to bring up at work, for absolutely no reason.

FNT started in 2023. In honour of the recent passing of the brilliant educator, Sue Johanson, we did one of our first episodes on the subject of s*x toys. Here's one of those Q&A's:

Correct answer: B: The oldest reported d***o was found in a German cave.

The first episode of 2024 was the Circus Edition. Here's one of the questions and answers from that episode:

Q: A popular circus act, what is the proper term for high-wire walking?

A.) Fungistat
B.) Funiculus
C.) Funambulism
D.) Funnelling

Correct answer: C. Funambulism. Tightrope walking is also known as funambulism and is a common type of circus act. Variations can include the use of props such as clubs or rings and walking over unusual places, such as the Grand Canyon or Niagara Falls. In the history of the circus, high wire acts are one of the most dangerous acts on the program and many performers have died while pursuing their chosen occupation.
