The Corner Pocket is local music radio in two forms. It is a live, weekly radio program on Hollow Earth Radio broadcasting Mondays 6-8pm ( Listen at http://www.hollowearthradio.org ). KCPR is also an on-again/0ff-again online radio station streaming local music 24/7 that anyone can listen to easily with their favorite media player. f 2012! The weekly Corner Pocket Radio Show is a radio show dedicated to music from within and around Bellingham, WA that has been on the air for over a decade. The show was born on 89.3 KUGS-FM and out of the ashes of a Whats Up! Magazine sponsored local show called The Launchpad. The Corner Pocket left KUGS in June of 2007 and soon found a new home November 1st with the newly founded Seattle-based internet radio station Hollow Earth Radio. The show continues to strive to bring the freshest and most comprehensive assault of local musics to your ears, including live sets and pre-recorded live performances. In November of 2009 KCPR [Corner Pocket Radio] was founded. This streaming, online radio station brings you local tunes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is inspired by the mothership of Hollow Earth Radio. KCPR is currently off-line but should be back up and running by the end of the year (2012).
