Playing with Sylvanian Families while making this stop motion gave us all the cute, nostalgic feels 😊. I loved Sylvanian Families when I was young. I would spend countless hours sitting in my bedroom perfectly organising my hotel ready for the guests to arrive. Laying out the teeny-tiny knives and forks, arranging the rooms, dressing the families, and then taking them all away on their ‘holiday’. I passed this love down to Amelia, who then passed down her full collection to Penny - whose collection even includes a Sylvanian canal boat that used to be Boy Dom’s! And if a toy can still be going strong after 30 years, and still provide hours of play, then to me, that’s the sign of a good toy.
