❗️ Maryland serial killer Charles Davis was an ambulance driver who killed five women in the 1970s. Davis stalked his victims, then abducted and strangled them. The bodies were dumped in open areas along busy roads on the route of his ambulance. When the emergency services were alerted about the co**se - no one suspected that the ambulance driver who arrived at the scene was actually the killer. Davis was eventually caught after using a stolen credit card belonging to one of his victims.

Theodore Bundy, in chains and a badly torn prison uniform, appeared before the district court at a preliminary hearing on murder charges brought against him for the murder of a Michigan nurse.

Pitken County Sheriff's officers said Bundy tore both shoulders of his prison jumpsuit in a fight with another inmate before entering the courtroom. Details of this incident were not available, but it is obvious that it followed a long-term feud between Bundy and another man. - Salt Lake Tribune - June 23 , 1977

According to Jim Quillen's book "Inside Alcatraz : My Time on the Rock", Alvin Karpis tried to impress others with his reputation as public enemy No. 1, but over time he became known as "Creepy Karpis" for his strange behavior.

The Norwegian judicial system is famous for its softness: violent maniacs cannot be sentenced to life here, and prison cells are more like restrooms.

An example of this injustice is Arnfinn Nesset, who worked as a doctor in a sanatorium. Patients died one by one, and no one could understand the reasons. The police suspected that one of the employees was responsible for the deaths, and then questioned Nesset. He confessed to 28 murders, but the investigation believes that 138 died at his hands.

As a result, he was given 21 years in prison — the maximum term in Norway. After 12 years of imprisonment, the maniac was released early for good behavior.
