Being an indie author can be tough but posts like this remind me of why I created the books I did. I wanted to instil passion, respect and appreciation of animals in children. This makes my heart so happy ❤️ This family were kind enough to let me use their lovely barn owl, Luna to paint. 🦉

Always focus on why you write. If just one person reads your book then that’s a win. Keep going 💪

Well 2025 hasn’t started how I planned but that’s okay. Day 6 of flu bug. Sometimes things don’t go as planned and that’s okay. Plenty of time to get better & do what I planned. No point in stressing!
