I have been involved in the Psychedelic Trance scene since its early stages...

I started mixing on vinyl decks back in 1999/2000, but moved on to digital since the advent of CDJs. I went to my first trance party back in 1998 (April 1st Alien Safari) and this was my first exposure to the Cape Town psytrance culture, and I was immediately hooked.

I started playing and organising small parties hosted by myself and some close friends. From there I progressed and then started getting bookings at local clubs and outdoor events. With over 19 years of DJ experience I have played at many of the top outdoor festivals in Cape Town like Ultranoise, Remanufacture, Mindcultivation, Aloe roots, Boomerang, Rezonance and Vortex!

My main stream of psytrance was the more minimal/musical Goa style trance from artists including (Snug, Yumade, Paps, Tripiatrik and Infected Mushroom to name a few...) and, because of this I have chosen to specialize in funky, energetic MUSICAL psytrance that is very adaptable, I am able to do both day time and night time sets. I use select music from headlining artist from all over the world.

I have also been hosting the Thursday Throwdown show on M***aFM since 2014.
