A message from Day of the Dead Fiesta:
TLDR : Someone stole our event artwork 🖼 - we’d like it back! Please share! 🚨 👀 🚨

A patron attending the Day of the Dead Fiesta Canberra “enjoyed” the event SO much that they decided to STEAL the custom event artwork on their way out of the show ~1am.

This large canvas piece was commissioned by the festival from local artist MATT JUDD 🎨 (213 art) + the organisers of this grass roots community festival WOULD LIKE IT BACK - so that everyone can enjoy it at the next edition!

There are multiple HD cameras which show the whole thing and EXACTLY who did it. 👀

We’d like the ARTWORK RETURNED to The Basement by SUNDAY 14th NOV and no further action will be taken - apart from the people involved no longer being welcome at the venue.

If it’s not returned then the 🎥 video footage and 👤 faces of those involved will be posted on social media and the case referred to the police 🚨 (not ideal for anyone really!)

Live music and community events take A LOT of work and are run LOCALLY by your fellow community members - no matter how drunk you are stealing from venues is pretty poor form.
