Welcome to everyone new to this page! I have designed a free “In Case of Emergency” toolkit that can be downloaded and personalized. This is a 100% must have for aging parents. Post on the fridge, bulletin board or inside a cabinet. If paramedics arrive to help they need this info right away! They will ask and look for it.
🚑 I experienced getting a call years ago that my dad was taken by ambulance from his senior community apartment WITHOUT his medical condition, medications, insurance info, etc. He sat in triage in the ER for hours until this info was provided. He couldn’t do it himself. The incompetent team where he lived at the time “couldn’t find” his info. 🤬The head caregiver later told me it had fallen in the back of a filing cabinet. I was panicked, furious and scrambling! I was also 200 miles away! Have a digital copy of this info on a thumb drive and/or printed out for all family members.
