It's so hard to believe that this time last year this little space cadet was still tucked safely away in my belly. It's been nearly a year since we had the baby shower here at . I can't wait until he's big enough to play outside.

Happy 6 months, my little astronaut! We had to celebrate Aidan's half dozen milestone with none other than . Aidan just started tasting solids this past week, which coincided with this, so we thought we would give him a tiny taste and play with his first doughnut. He mainly squished it, but when he tasted that frosting, he was hooked. He wasn't sure about the actual dough, though. Lol. And the story behind the c*ck n' balls doughnut is because (1) it's an infamous doughnut made by Voodoo that is well known, and (2) because Aidan was so proud to display himself as a boy to all the ultrasound techs at each appointment that we decided to pay subtle homage to that experience. Next up: 9 ¾ sorting on none other than Harry Potter's birthday on July 31!

Aidan, Justin and I got the awesome opportunity to go see and pet some alpacas thanks to and .tribealpacas ! Aidan has a huge fascination with llamas when he sees them, so we were really excited to take him. As you can see, he was a bit skeptical of these beautiful creatures, especially when they continued to make their humming calls. We are so grateful for farms and animal advocate who are so willing to do educational outreach like this. This is how we teach children to love and respect animals.

We got our sneak peek photos from .capturedphotography yesterday, and she absolutely nails it every time! We booked an extended family session with her so we could get pics of my parents with Aidan. It was super rainy, and thankfully Aidan was cooperative despite teething and rain. I cannot wait to see the rest of the gallery. I can't recommend her enough to people in the Vancouver, WA area!
