Another good day out a the track to end the season down at SYP. Out of 3 races we Had 2 4ths and a 1st out of 7 cars in my heat group. Came home with some fresh damage on our both of our freshly repaired fiberglass doors that we weren’t super happy about. But hey, Life goes on. We will rebuild. Sad that the season is already over! And already looking forward for next year to start! 🤮

Huge thanks to Bray Signs & Safety for the fresh new decals, they compliment the fresh red paint supplied by Inspirations Paint Parafield and a huge thanks to T.G Atkins Pty Ltd for all the help with the car! Just a few small thing and the race car will be all set to hit the track again this Sunday!

Body filler applied over the repaired cracks then sanded smooth. The glass panels aren’t perfect but they should look good with a fresh coat of paint

All the fiberglass panels repaired, sanded and ready for a small bit of bog over the cracks to smooth them out ready for a fresh coat of paint 👌🏻

Fibreglass door panels and quarter panels removed for crack and hole repairs before painting. Not as bad as I thought it would be underneath.

Awesome day out for my first dirt circuit race meeting as a driver and first time driving the red rocket, came away with a third, a second and 2 first places! The car performed flawlessly and finished with no damage. Quick oil change and she’s ready to go for next month!
