I don’t have the strength yet, to publicly elaborate what he meant to me. My emotions are all over the place and I will need some time to fathom before I can start to put into words how big this loss is for me personally.
I do thank you all for countless calls, messages and comments regarding the passing of our friend.
I’ve seen most of them but only responded to few.

I was planning to finally release new music on Jazzsticks Recordings this month but can’t do it under these circumstances and instead, I decided to skip catalogue number JAZ085 entirely and dedicate the empty space and silence to Conrad.

Many years ago when Conrad & Paul needed some audio cables to record their live shows, they went to a music store called Klangfarbe here in Vienna and it was literally 2 kids in the candy shop, drumming together in the shops huge acoustic drums section. That’s where he felt right at home, surrounded by tech & instruments.

If you ever wondered about Conrad‘s unique way of dancing and moving his hands and arms on stage while performing - he was literally playing the drums.

We are sad beyond words.
We lost a great friend.

Our current release of Jazzsticks’ original Flowrian is one of his last releases under this alias for the foreseeable future. He’s been on this journey with us since day one and vice versa. He just released his first release under his new moniker, a more stripped down and grittier vision of Drum & Bass but still, unmistakably, the same uber talented producer that we all love.
