.co is officially 5 years old today

Running a business brings both immense opportunity and frequent battles. Five years in and we’ve had equal share of both.

If you’ve followed us for a while, or you’re new here, here are our five biggest lessons in our time so far.

- Have difficult conversations early. They only become more tough to deal with - so face them head on and lean into the discomfort.

- Bad clients pay the same as good clients, but cost you a lot more. Be selective with who your work with and protect your time and energy. The wrong group of clients can be very costly.

- Recognise and reward hard work. A well-valued team is priceless and will move the needle forward when they feel thought of.

- You have to put your foot on the gas before you ease it off. Everyone wants the money, the freedom and the time on their hands, but there’s a lot of hard work before that comes. In the early stages, used to work through the night til 4am and would take over. Your business doesn’t owe you anything.

- Don’t rush. Nobody is ever going to ask you how long it took to achieve your goal. The people that matter will recognise your hard work and be happy that you are healthy and a nice person to be around. Take your time, and build something that you’re genuinely proud of.

Filming the The Graphfit Podcast has been and incredible experience so far. Sharing the wisdom and knowledge of experts in our industry is something we’re all passionate about.

It got me thinking


How much knowledge, opinions and expertise do we have in our team that could help so many people on a daily basis, regardless of whether they’re paying us or not.

We quickly came together to compile everything that makes us Graphfit and filmed the first episode of The Friday Show.
