2022 has been a fast yet slow year for me so far. I got Covid back in early January and still recovering but almost back to feeling 100%. I still have fatigue on and off and this cough that persists on staying around.

My boyfriend and I have also moved to a new house west of Charlotte and we are so happy with the place we found! It’s coming together quite well and the extra space is so nice! 🏡

It feels good to be able to get back to working out again and playing disc golf! It’s been awhile so it’s nice to focus on pursuing what I love the most. 💪🏼🥏

I have some things in the works for Disc Golf and I can’t wait to share them with you! 😊

What’s up yo! I haven’t been very consistent on Instagram lately. A lot has been happening! Anywho, here’s a couple facts about me! 😜

I was born and raised in Northeast Ohio.

I started playing Disc Golf 11 years ago.

I am dominant lefty but I throw discs with my right hand.

I have 3 brothers.

My favorite show is Stranger Things.

I love eating salads 🥗

Basketball is my second favorite sport.

I make killer omelets 😏

Jim Carrey is my fav actor!

I am fascinated with learning about aliens, the environment, and life outside our existence.

“Wow she throws better than you dude”

Ladies, have you ever had a guy at the disc golf course say comments like this? Honestly, it’s happened to me so many times that I lost count.

When guys make comments like this, it only makes it obvious as to how much they undermine us and our capability to do something just as good as them. A comment like that is saying that if a girl is throwing that good then a guy needs to step his game up.

Reality check guys, women are just as capable as men in this sport. And I’m not saying to not compliment us on a good throw, all I’m saying is to stop comparing our abilities to yours.

All we want is more encouragement and less comparing. We want to be seen as equal in our talents and skills. Men, you have all the power to change this ideology of how you see women. Will you make an generous effort to change it?
