Abigail in Korea I am Abigail and I have been living in Korea for three years, and want to share my experiences. Now all my video posts and information will all be in one place.

Recently, I made a Youtube channel to share my experiences in Korea with all my friends and family. However, instead of flooding my personal Facebook channel with posts of my new videos, I decided to make this page. The name of my channel is a bit of a play on words. The Korean word for foreigner 왜국인 is pronounced “waygookin.” By adding the English word for Korea to the end, it sounds like a kongl

ish (Korean/English) way to say ”Foreigner in Korea.” Then, by changing “gook,” to the similar sounding English word “good.” Therefore, giving the channel name two meanings. 1. Foreigner in Korea, because that’s what I am! 2. Way Good in Korea, because everything truly is real good here! The goal of this channel to show you all things Korea. I want to be able to let you visit Korea from the comfort of your own sofa. I hope you enjoy my videos showing you all about my life in Korea! Be sure to Like and Comment on videos you loved so I know what content you want to see. Also don’t forget to Subscribe to my channel and turn on your notifications to make sure you never miss a video.

한옥 Hanok are traditional Korean Houses. This a a modern hanok village in Seoul called Eunpyeong Hanok Village. The detail and craftsmanship is beautiful, and much of Korea’s architecture resembles them.

While modern Hanok are beautiful, they were first built in the 14th century during the Joseph dynasty. Today, the Hanok from then are no longer standing, but their foundations still remain!

Check out my video to get a glimpse at some ancient remains of one of these Hanok villages from the Joseon Dynasty!

I made this new page to help share videos about my life in Korea. I didn't want to flood my personal page with posts of my videos. So, making this page was my solution. Be sure to follow if you want to see more about my life here!
