Yesterday for National Coming Out Day, Mindshare Pride hosted an amazing panel that discussed why a day like NCOD is important to them 🏳️🌈
We were joined by Fay Barrett from DIVA Magazine who shared her story on how coming out at a late age allowed her to be herself and her experiences from an editorial point of view in the media.
Lukasz Konieczka from Mosaic LGBT+ Young Persons' Trust who delved into the challenges that young people often face when coming out to family members and provided advise on housing and/or financial support.
And from Mindshare UK, Nacho Del Olmo, Lindsay Jackson and Sarah Rose who talked about coming out from a workspace perspective and how allies can support their LGBTQ+ colleagues to embrace and share their personal stories, making sexuality a safe topic - a huge thank you to all our panellists!
