🎙️ Dear beloved listeners —

We hope this message finds you well. It's with both a heavy heart and a sense of gratitude that we share some news with you. Over the past two years, life has taken Rhonda and Chris on unexpected journeys filled with new opportunities and responsibilities. As much as we've cherished every moment spent with you on our podcast, we've come to the difficult decision to officially end our show.

This decision wasn't made lightly. We've spent countless hours discussing and reflecting on the path ahead. Ultimately, we realized that our current commitments demand more time and attention than we can allocate to interviewing, producing and managing the podcast effectively.

However, please know that our decision to close this chapter in our podcasting journey does not mean goodbye to our cherished community. You've been the heart and soul of this endeavor, and your support and engagement have meant everything to us.

While we won't be releasing new episodes, we're keeping this page open as a space for continued communication and connection. We want to hear from you, share stories, and keep the spirit of our community alive.

Our past episodes will remain online for you to enjoy and share with fellow Northern Coloradans. Each one holds memories and conversations that we hold dear.

As we embark on new adventures, we carry with us the memories of the laughter, the insights, and the bonds formed through this podcast. We're eternally grateful for your unwavering support and friendship.

Thank you for being a part of our journey!! Sending you all our love and best wishes — Chris and Rhonda 💛

Hey Friends! - We wanted to share a quick update on our online platforms because it's been about a year since we last reached out, and we wanted to keep you posted on what's new with us.

🌟 Rhonda Solis won her campaign and is now representing District 8 on the Colorado State Board of Education, and has continued advocating for our students and our gente. She recently seen a few members of her family and a mentor pass away, so she's been staying connected with her family and friends to support each other through this tough time. She's also running again now to continue to her tenure and we'll share her campaign information in the comments of this post. 🙌

Chris Garcia got married to his beautiful new wife, Edith, and we wish him all the happiness in their marriage 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨. He has also been busy lending his time and voice to several community efforts and co-leading the University of Northern Colorado's work on becoming a Hispanic Serving Institution. 🐻

We won't be able to post an update or new podcast for a while, as we both continue to lead busy lives, but we hope that you'll stay connected to our page, and continue doing the amazing work we've seen you all doing in our community.

Sending Love to all of you for the holiday season and for all the potential blessings to come in the new year! - Chris and Rhonda! 🥰 Saludos

The character was based on a real-life fan of "The Little Mermaid" named Gabriella Angelina Bommino, who watched "The Little Mermaid" over and over again while being treated for leukemia, ultimately dying in 1992 at the age of two.

It's May the 4th... And for many, that has us thinking about the late Carrie Fisher and the movie role that made her famous: Princess Leia, the tough Star Wars fighter who helped save the Empire.

And there’s that iconic hairdo: two giant buns pressed against the sides of her head.

But for Alexandra de la Rocha, a big Star Wars fan, Princess Leia’s look doesn’t just take her back to a distant planet, but a distant relative: a fighter in the Mexican Revolution, part of the group of real-life revolutionaries who inspired those famous coiled buns.

Real-life revolutionary women inspired those famous coiled buns.
