After an intense and isolating Furiosa shoot, the star is reveling in married life with Malcolm McRae. ELLE spoke with Taylor-Joy about challenges she overcame to film Furiosa, her surprise appearance in Dune 2 and what it means for her involvement in the franchise moving forward. She also opened up about her elopement and reflected on her career, sharing what she hoped for when she went to Sundance with her first film 10 years ago: “I hoped for magic.”

Anya Taylor-Joy chats with ELLE Magazine about her experience filming Furiosa: Taylor-Joy says, more than anything she “wanted to be pushed. I wanted to really understand grit in a different way. Because I knew that I had it. But I understood that in isolation, I was going to really experience it. Okay, you’re in a house in the middle of nowhere with just your thoughts and this character. How do you cope with that? And when you don’t have comfort around you—when there’s nothing that you can turn to for distraction—how are you going to experience that?” She adds, “My favorite flowers have always been seeded dandelions or the daisies that grow through concrete. I think I wanted to be placed in concrete. I wanted to understand how that would feel. When you get too comfortable, you stop growing.”

Surf’s up and murder’s afoot, as Psycho Beach Party mashes up ’50s psychodramas and ’60s surfer flicks into a truly madcap comedy. Think Gidget meets Mommie Dearest, meets John Waters! It’s 1962 and teenage tomboy Chicklet Forrest desperately wants to be a part of the surfer crowd on Malibu Beach. One thing getting in her way, however, is her unfortunate tendency towards multiple personalities, including a dim checkout girl, an elderly radio talk show hostess, a male model named Steve, and the accounting firm of Edelman and Edelman. And her most dangerous alter ego — sexually voracious v***n Ann Bowman — has nothing less than world domination on her mind! Mischief, madness and the passionate pursuit of the perfect wave (and the perfect man) come crashing over the heads of the audience as beach blankets and Hitchcockian psychological suspense thrillers are tossed around in this rollicking, zany comedy.

The show starts at 7pm but the fun starts at 6pm! Join us for the Kiki Tiki Hour in our lobby lounge – a Psycho Pre-Party with bespoke beverages, beachy music, fun photo ops, and a tiki vibe! Kristin Chenoweth is feeling better than she did in her 20s. The Tony-winning actor, 55, is feeling great thanks to a few lifestyle tweaks. And she's passing some of those tips onto Ariana Grande as she takes the lead in the new Wicked.

In an interview with Women's Health following her session at the brand’s inaugural Women’s Health Health Lab event in NYC, Kristin shared that she's been feeling her healthiest ever thanks to a series of lifestyle changes, including hot yoga and drinking lots of water.

"I'm not going to say I'm a vegetarian. I'm from Oklahoma! I used to live on two Cokes a day, hardly any water. Now I hardly live on Coca-Cola! I live on water!" stated Chenoweth,

Paramount+ today announced that Academy Award winner Holly Hunter will star in the upcoming original series STAR TREK: STARFLEET ACADEMY as the captain and chancellor of Starfleet Academy.

The series will follow the adventures of a new class of Starfleet cadets as they come of age in one of the most legendary places in the galaxy. Produced by CBS Studios, the series will begin production later this summer.

Nickelodeon is celebrating SpongeBob SquarePants 25th anniversary all year and beyond, kicking off with SpongeBob SquarePants (voiced by Tom Kenny) and Patrick Star (voiced by Bill Fagerbakke) set to host the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2024, live from their undersea home of Bikini Bottom on Saturday, July 13, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT).

Following Kids’ Choice Awards 2024, Nickelodeon will roll out a wide-ranging slate of 25th anniversary programs for SpongeBob SquarePants that invites audiences around the globe to LIVE, EAT, GAME, PLAY and WATCH LIKE A SPONGE. South Park exclusive event, SOUTH PARK: THE END OF OBESITY, will premiere Friday, May 24

In SOUTH PARK: THE END OF OBESITY, the advent of new weight loss drugs has a huge impact on everyone in South Park. When Cartman is denied access to the life-changing medicine, the kids jump into action.

The hit animated franchise South Park, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2022, debuted on Comedy Central August 13, 1997. Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny were first seen in the animated short “The Spirit of Christmas,” and from there were launched into television history. Co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are executive producers, along with Anne Garefino and Frank C.

Duran Duran has announced the reissue of their first five studio albums - Duran Duran, Rio, Seven and the Ragged Tiger, Notorious, and Big Thing. Long out of print, this exciting reissue marks the first time this collection will be available in the original 1LP and 1CD format, with remastered audio, since their initial release. The albums will be available via Warner Music on July 19

Both 1LP and 1CD formats will feature the latest album remasters, with vinyl editions cut at Abbey Road Studios in London. The album artworks have been closely restored to the original sleeve designs, overseen by Malcolm Garrett, the visionary designer behind the band’s first three records.

Duran Duran’s first five albums - 1981’s Duran Duran, 1982’s Rio, 1983’s Seven and the Ragged Tiger, 1986’s Notorious, and 1988’s Big Thing - have defined the sound and style of generations. Their acclaimed singles like ‘Hungry Like the Wolf’, ‘Rio’, ‘Girls on Film’and ‘Save a Prayer’ consistently dominated singles charts around the world on their release, and continue to soundtrack the lives of millions of fans. The music and magic within these five records propelled the band to the very front of the global music scene, establishing Duran Duran’s status as cultural icons and one of the most influential groups of all time. Now, 16 studio albums deep into their recording career, and counting, Duran Duran are still performing many of these songs in packed arenas all over the world.
