Back in 2002, when our radio documentary Golden Rule* was made for the BBC, the cultural gulf of fifty years since the accession and then coronation was already huge; things have moved even more swiftly over the last two decades. Some things, however, haven't changed for centuries – singing in harmony, and sharing at the table, as here with TONUS PEREGRINUS. God save the King.
