Thrilled to officially be able to announce that my poem, "Runaway" (as featured in "Selected Poems of Emanuel Xavier"), which was inspired by this amazing photograph (Boy Running, Palmetto St., Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY, June 1985) by Meryl Meisler, will soon be released as a House track by British producer Urvin June on Supa Qween Records! The track also features a spoken word sample by Boogie Revlon taken from The Luna Show #212.

Back in 2010, the poem "Legendary" became a fun e-mix by producer El David so it was just a matter of time before dis bish got the House diva treatment. LOL.

If you're a dee-jay, keep an eye out for “World Out There” by Urvin June & Emanuel Xavier! Happy indeed!

Supa Queen: Party United!

Minnesota based indie label offering an integrated-dance music sound with the sole intention of unifying diverse groups of people, who aren’t known for partying together or as we like to say, “house music for the bros, hoes and mo’s.” Our label would fit in somewhere between the likes of Swishcraft Music and Glitterbox. We are very heavy on various shades of house music (Afro, Chill, Deep, Electro, Funk, Tech) and Nu Disco, but occasionally we enjoy coloring outside lines and dropping a down tempo banger or something a little left of center. Whatever we deliver, our grooves are party-starters aimed at “the sweet spot” of any party. We work with artists from various genres to challenge our sound which, hopefully, results in some unique tunes.
