“On a random Friday in Lagos, my friend and I found ourselves at Nike Art Gallery, admiring some beautiful paintings, when we unexpectedly bumped into the legend herself Mama Nike, the visionary founder of the gallery. Even without knowing her face, I instantly felt her presence. Dressed in a stunning Adire and a massive pearl necklace, her energy was magnetic, her eyes shining with wisdom and untold stories.

She took us on a personal tour, showing us her office and exclusive spaces while sharing incredible stories about her life. Her words were more than inspiring, they were real-life testimonies of a generation that believed in themselves and their culture far more than their own government ever did. They paved the way for Nigerian creatives, making it possible for today’s artists - whether in music, painting, or other forms - to thrive and tell their own stories.

It was so powerful, I had to sit down with her and bring her story to you. Her impact is timeless, and her legacy deserves to be documented. It truly felt like I was witnessing history in the making. “

is out !!! World Boss finally got released yesterday after 13years behind bars. Nobody does it like him, his consistency in dropping music and keeping his position at the top despite his freedom being taken away from him is truly inspiring. The number of people he influenced as much in the musicality, style, purpose, community commitment and culture pride. We can’t wait to see what’s next and to have him back on stage 🔥🔥🔥

est libre !!! World Boss a finalement été libéré hier après 13 ans derrière les barreaux. Il n’y en a pas 2 comme lui, sa constance à sortir des sons et à garder sa position au sommet malgré qu’on lui ait retiré sa liberté est vraiment inspirante. Le nombre de personnes qu’il a influencées tant au niveau musical, du style, des objectifs, de l’engagement communautaire et de la fierté culturelle est immense. Nous avons hâte de voir la suite et de le revoir sur scène 🔥🔥🔥
