NIHILISTIC ORBS MELBOURNE BASED RECORD LABEL, NIGHTS, AND COMMUNITY Nihilistic Orbs started as a series of nights at the Empress Hotel from Oct-Dec 2009.

The line ups featured acts such as Lakes, Bum Creek, Pissypaw, Eko Eko Azarak, Kitchens Floor, X.T.X., Wasted Truth, Acid Casualty, Hochman & Hopkins, J.K. Fuller, Superstar, Omen, xNO BBQx, White Alter, Free Choice Duo, Gugg, Chrome Dome, Always, Repairs, Lost Animal. The Original intention of the night was to record all acts and release live cassettes however due to time restrictions, a couple o

f dodgy recordings and slow tape dubber only a couple of tapes were put out. I am currently in the process however of tracking the recordings down. In December of 2010 Nihilistic Orbs was asked to put on a pre-new years party at the Tote Hotel the line up was Repairs, Young Romantix, Jonny Telephone, MurrrTurrrrrrr, Screwtape, Asps, Pyschward vs RSI, Emma Albury/Murcus Cook. As before it was recorded and will make the light of day. This year we have recently released the Jonny Telafone Ceremony 7”inch, Asps Asps Cassingle, Chrome Dome Cut Ties 7” and Repairs Pleasure Principle 7”. Coming soon there will be releases from Melbourne based two piece Forces and Brisbane based band Sky Needle. For bookings, distro and all inquiries:
