Expect another cold night tonight. Although temps will be slightly "warmer" from PDX to Troutdale and Corbett, it will not feel warmer in these locations due to increasing east winds over the eastern metro and western Columbia River Gorge. If you're wondering when we will finally break out of this cold and dry weather pattern, it appears we will around Jan. 29th or 30th. Until then, expect more of the same!

Our sunny weather may be a welcome break from the usual rain, but the lack of cloud cover is bringing cold nights – and that poses particular hazards for those working at sea these days, especially commercial fishermen.
