As of 1/1/2015 We are now operating again as a record label , we will be doing small runs of Vinyl , Tape and CDs starting first with a Black Cell remix CD

BackwardsHQ was started the summer of 2001 in Denver Colorado for the purpose of focusing on music that was non genre specific or at the very least blurring the lines between genres . The core groups involved in Backwards Records from its inception include : Black Cell , Syphilis Sauna , kuxxan-sum , Brocken Spectre and Page 27 . We do lots of shows in the Denver area including : Night of Noise -

quarterly noise slap down at Old Curtis St, Backwards Records Night at the Walnut Room , BRAPfest! (monthly live improv electronic show with an open door policy to any would be producer) at Rhinoceropolis as well as many other 1 off shows etc . The genres we (very) generally work in are : Industrial, Noise, Breakcore, Metal , Underground Rap and Dark Ambient .
