Back to home appliances, dishwashers, washing machines, vegetable graters, blenders, and vacuum cleaners to mention but a few make living more comfortable.

Someone mentioned how she passed her driving test after the third attempt.
This reminded me of mine after not passing at the first attempt, I had to pay extra just to learn backward parking. It was physically and psychologically draining seeing the amount involved and the hope of passing it at the first instance dashed.

It is imperative that we abide by the words of Philippians 4:8, which instructs us to dwell on things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy. Years ago,my mother had recently purchased two new soaps - Fa and Ava. As we were unpacking the groceries, I immediately noticed the green Fa soap and set it aside for a refreshing bath later. The beautiful and refreshing fragrance filled the entire kitchen as my mother continued to busy herself. Suddenly, she shouted across the passage door, asking who was in the bathroom. I replied with enthusiasm, letting her know that it was me and humming to the tune of "Emily eee nwanyi." She then asked me which soap I was using, and I proudly replied that I was using the Fa soap. She responded in our local dialect, "fafaruu fusa nko osisoo ikusatula penny!" Years later, when I went shopping and saw the green Fa soap again, i screamed see Faaaa ooooo.I couldn't resist the temptation of buying it once more.This time around in quantum.
