What you’re hearing is the first iteration of the 99 names song that recently surpassed a million streams on Spotify and I feel so blessed, Bit I’m not satisfied. Since its release, I’ve had the privilege to study Tajweed and I realized that I wasn’t always pronouncing the names as well as possible. A rule of Tajweed is to give every letter its right and these are Allah’s names! We don’t even like when our names are mispronounced! So I recently released a newer track that updates the sound but also has a more corrected pronunciation of the words as well as better meaning associations.
So while this first track will always be the classic. I believe we have a better track more fit to help you memorize now.

After I finished writing verses to the 99 names song, I needed a chorus and didn’t want to do it injustice. I asked Ustadh Umm Zakiyyah who co-wrote the books that teach adults and children and she pointed out that Allah says he has the most beautiful names and suggested the following phrase: Lahul Asma ul Husna WAllahu Akbar means: “to Allah belongs the most Beautiful names and Allah is the greatest” . This was so powerful to me SubhanAllah! There is a prophetic saying that was reported to say that whoever is not grateful to people is not grateful to Allah.
I’m grateful because I couldn’t have completed this project without the people who helped me through it. May Allah reward them and grant them paradise. #asmaulhusna

Learning Allah’s 99 names dramatically increased my feeling of closeness to Him. I want to share this privilege with the world. I hope you share it too.
