「起步走」相信改變生活靠的是「行動」，每個人缺乏的不是能力、金錢、運氣，起步走的成員全都沒有這些條件，但我們擁有的，是「實踐的勇氣」。我們的成立是為了讓想要實現理念與夢想卻沒有伸展機會的人一個平台，一個空間，在這裡我們沒有限制，唯一能限制你的，只有自己。
我們從事社會行動，影像創作，舉辦展覽，為的是給更多需要的人們，一個改變生活，甚至改變世界的機會。
