“Let’s get to the Meat & Potatoes of this”

Before getting into the biggest album of the year so far for episode 130, the gang went over some of the details concerning the YSL RICO case and how serious it could get down the road for music artists and their freedom of speech. Should lyrics and songs be used as evidence against a music artist? We discuss that and more

“Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers” is finally here and we made sure to give it another thorough listen before weighing in and giving our thoughts, critiques, and meanings behind the very conscious-heavy offering from K.Dot

We quick fire afterwards regarding whether or not Freddie Gibbs took an “L” this week, the wacky world of sports gambling, James Harden gone missing in game 7, and Pat Bev coming for CP3’s neck.

All that, some more singing, and jokes for episode 130: “Meat & Potatoes” now available wherever you stream your podcasts, and coming soon to YouTube!

The show has a new friend that makes its debut(hopefully it’s still there next week)

Guys: are y’all taking Birth Control if it’s safe and available? We debate on whether the new science will become a new normal and how it will change society..

Some quick fire topics follow as well as another great installment of “IF YOU DONT KNOW”

After a quick weekend recap-

- Vince Staples reminding us why he’s so important to the culture

-Nicki’s recent interview with Joe Budden and if she’s able to make the next classic Female Hiphop Album

- more Ye news(still haven’t heard Donda 2)

What show would we be if we didn’t nerd out immediately on one of the most anticipated Films of the year??? Of course we discussed “The Batman” and our thoughts on “Battinson”. Spoilers in episode so apologies if you haven’t seen it yet!

While discussing a new segment we are trying to implement into the show, we debate between “Stillmatic” vs “The Blueprint” and the impact that it had on each of us.
That talk led into another future category: “Best Concept Song” which ended up being tougher than we had first thought.

Sade has caught up on “Euphoria” and gets to share her thoughts on the end of the recent season and where it could go from here.

Keeping deep into the 120’s, the gang shows ultimate levels of resilience and wherewithal in the face of fatigue. Episode 122: “Yawnitis” is now available wherever you listen to podcasts

Well into the 120’s and officially 10+ episodes for our guy , the gang hasn’t slowed down a bit.

Villa and Pro recount their latest gym episode before delving into the “Genius” of the “Jeen-Yuhs” Doc on Netflix.

The Slaughterhouse drama has taken to IG live, and the gang discuss the embarrassing direction this feud has gone in now that more has been brought to the light.

We kick off a new “On this Day” segment reminiscing to some brighter moments in the culture

As well as revisit a regular segment of “Sh*t we watched”

The energy was also new as we filmed in a “brand new” area which will only get better.

This episode here, though…

To say this was a “good one” won’t ever do it justice… from the jump, we were in full debate about the weird and random, and kept it flowing smoothly throughout.

When it came to what’s going on in the music world, we covered that well without getting too “newsy”

The energy that .esco brought definitely helped push us out of our own “comfort bubble” and make for some good podding. Join in and see the madness for yourself on episode 120: “Comfort Bubble” available wherever you listen to podcasts

“None of this s**t is real”

For episode 119, we were joined by friend of the show and question King, to help discuss conspiracy theories, possible multiverses and glitches, which took the pod to depths we’ve only just begun to touch on.

The “Old Kanye” is back on Netflix and the gang was ready to deep dive into part 1 of the Trilogy and reminisce on better times.

We also found ourselves debating on if there really are any “superstars” in the rap music industry currently after the “Big 3”

We exchanged some hilarious encounters as children which was a great way to end an already fun-filled and rather very intellectual conversation

Episode 119, titled “Simulation 119” can be heard wherever you listen to podcasts(or not since none of this is real)🌋🌋🌋🌋

The Super Bowl Hangover was real in this past episode with the gang!

We catch up on the madness of the big game including the pre-show stuff, the commercials, the legendary halftime show, as well as the sketchiness of the 4th quarter.

Being that the game was in LA, Ice-T warned us on Twitter about the f**kery, and there absolutely was.

-Kodak black involved in a shootout

- DaBaby and “DaUncle” going at it without proper footwear

We review the mind-bending Dr. Strange trailers which brought out the full nerd-dom from our hosts.

We went in detail on this one and hope you all enjoy the ride with us for episode 118: “DaUncle” now available wherever you stream your podcasts 🏆

“And it always comes back to the money!!!”

With Special Guest, X joining the gang, we got straight into Sports talk, specifically his San Francisco 49’ers and what went down during their recent championship game against the Rams. This led to a discussion regarding corruption in Sports and how far gone we are from having true balanced competition.

From there, we gave our takes regarding Joe Rogan’s recent headlines, and where he goes from here.

It’s only right we review the new albums and singles that came out, mainstream and Indie!!

We also talk about “code switching” and how much its used in our everyday life.

Who had the best Adlibs in hiphop??

A question that has plagued the gang for months finally gets discussed in this “free-flow” type episode.

-A new Verzuz is otw for V-Day

- T.I. Thinks he’s never been outrapped on a song. We beg to differ

- Will “Donda 2” be more like the first, or just a quick response release based off Ye’s recent personal issues?

- Joe Rogan can’t seem to catch a break lately, and the gang breaks down if he’s at fault or just being targeted for being too influential

All that and way more on episode 116: “And Then…” available wherever you stream your podcasts 🌋🌋

“NEW YEAR, NEW HANDS”

After a few trips, delays and sick days, the gang finally reunited for the first time in 2022 to get into what the hell we’ve been missing!

Pro watched ALOT and broke it down while Sade and Villa played “catch-up”

Sade speaks on her NYE and provides an update on “Grandma-Gate”. She also randomly may have birthed the 2022 Motto: “New Year, New Hands”

Villa spent some of his off-time the genius that is Nardwuar, which leads into us giving him his 💐

The gang was joined by the Poet Powerhouse to go over our favorite albums of the year. There were lots of obvious ones, some surprise entries, and others that we just couldn’t stand. We go into detail on our picks, and also go over some other favorites of the years.

This episode definitely confirms our Geek status when it comes MCU movies as the gang went into a massive deep dive into Spider Man: No Way Home(Spoilers going crazy during that part)

Since we took so much time with that, we also reviewed “True Story” on Netflix and gave our analysis on Kevin Hart in a more serious role.

A few music topics sprinkled in as well spotlighting some dope indie acts and it made for a very entertaining episode with the gang.

Enjoy the new drop while you and yours have a happy and safe holiday 🌋🌋🌋

“Just sayin… No Pressure”
- Sade

This week’s episode brought back a friend of the show( )to help dissect the happenings all around the globe.

We celebrate Sade getting closer to her 30’s, as well as Pro recounting his recent night as a “Judge”.

Not much music released recently but there was plenty of news to talk about and thanks to Villa, we didn’t miss a beat.

We continue some with Marvel talk and even jump into some quick sports talk since the Knicks fans have been going through it.

All that and a whole more more on episode 110: “No Pressure” now available wherever you stream your podcasts as well as YouTube

08/12/2021

So for context:

We film our show at a space that can sometimes be double booked or have a random tour passing by to show it around. This particular week, we recalled a funny story while setting up which became the title of our most recent episode. Enjoy the random s**t-talking, and remember, it’s all jokes🌋check out more from episode 109 on audio and on YouTube

When creating a new work, an artist usually has an objective, meaning, or motivation for it. With some special production help from the gang was able to cruise through episode and never miss a beat.

Turkey day was a hell of an experience for the gang, and we recapped it to the best of our abilities while protecting the innocent🤣

We go over the recent Grammy nominations and try to figure out the difference between “Song of the Year” and “Record of the year”

In our “Sh*t We Watched” segment, we review the new MCU series “Hawkeye” and give our take on the superpower-less Avenger.

“Truth is a big thing for me”
-

In our recent sit down with Shake for episode 108, we had some off-air talk that was too good not to bring up regarding communication and honesty within relationships. An open line of communication should always be key, regardless of how brutal the truth is. Would you agree with what was said, or is there another way to go about it?

Be on the lookout for more from the gang and Shake from episode 108, available wherever you stream your podcasts, and on YouTube 🌋🌋🌋

First and foremost, we hope you and yours all have a safe and happy “Turkey Day”

This weeks episode was podding in its truest form: raw, unapologetic, and random mixed with emotion with a dash of purpose.

joined the gang this week to discuss the present and past alongside the release of his current project “Becoming King”

There were topics galore so to include everything on here would take up a lot of time. These guest episodes are more than just asking the artist “so, who are your influences?” and “what made you fall in love with music?” Shake provided his perspective on regular everyday occurrences and emotions while showcasing his unique sense of humor in the process. We believe this is what truly makes an artist relatable(on top of the music, of course)

Anyways, I’m blabbering, but this was a really dope episode and we thank Shake for being a part of the beautiful randomness that is this pod. Enjoy your 🦃 and stay safe, but also stay dangerous🌋🌋🌋

24/11/2021

Up next for episode 108 we have none other than joining the gang for some dope convo and laughs. Coming sooner than scheduled cuz of the holiday. Stay tuned🌋🌋🌋
