One of the biggest obstacles to achieving this happiness is the tendency to compare ourselves to others. We often look at the lives of those around us and measure our own success and happiness against theirs. But the truth is, comparing ourselves to others is not only pointless, but it can also be detrimental to our mental and emotional well-being.

When we compare ourselves to others, we are essentially measuring our own progress and success against someone else's. We may feel envious of their accomplishments or frustrated by our own lack of progress in comparison. But it's important to remember that everyone's journey is different. We all have different paths to follow and unique obstacles to overcome. Comparing ourselves to others is like comparing apples to oranges - it doesn't make sense.

Instead of comparing ourselves to others, we should focus on our own growth and progress. Set your own goals, and strive to achieve them. And when you do reach them, don't compare your accomplishments to those of others, but rather appreciate and celebrate your own successes.

TRUTH -- if you really want to be a top performer and avoid burnout, you have to take care of yourself FIRST.

This is a piece of money making advice a lot of people tend to skip over, but you’ll drive yourself into the ground if you don’t take it. Burnout for me drastically slows down my ability to make decisions and makes it hard to focus on anything. That’s why I’m telling you, you have to take care of your body.

Get in some type of movement for at least half an hour each day. Pick whatever that’s going to be — walking outside, riding a bicycle, running on a treadmill. Some form of distraction so that you can do something other than work. Your body wants to exercise and it needs to do that, and it has to be something that’s done on a routine basis.
