In the last few months we have had a new edition to our home; Lucy, our 6 month old Coonhound & Labrador mix=(Coonador). Me & Rowdy have been together since he was a puppy for 4yrs now. Rowdy has needed a friend for a while that can match his energy & he is a "dog friendly" sweet boy that just wants to play. It didn't take long for them to become pals & adopted siblings. Rowdy has taught her the "In's & Out's" of the household behaviors & routines; while Lucy has matched Rowdys "playful puppy energy". Lucy thinks Rowdy is the coolest thing since sliced bread & Rowdy loves the job of being a big brother.

These are some images I captured at a small pull-off spot on the side of the road before crossing an Iron Trussed dual purpose bridge for vehicles & trains crossing the Northern Mississippi River at the State borders of Illinois & Iowa. The waters are wide & expansive; while the bridge is narrow & nostalgic, with a view that is grand & breathtaking. It was an amazingly new Lifeacape to behold.
