This book is so important that I believe every adult should read it. it details the "rewiring of childhood" that has taken place over the past two decades. Even if you think you know the extent of damage that has taken place in our society because of smartphones, you'll still be shocked.

The author uses a lot of evolutionary psychology, but besides that, this book is extremely valuable. Before you make any new decisions about smartphones, YouTubers, influencers, or social media for your kids, read this book. Don't give your kids the tools to be a part of the Anxious Generation.

A Proclamation
My Fellow Countrymen:

Many circumstances have recently conspired to turn our thoughts to a critical examination of the conditions of our national life, of the influences which have seemed to threaten to divide us in interest and sympathy, of forces within and forces without that seemed likely to draw us away from the happy traditions of united purpose and action of which we have been so proud, It has therefore seemed to me fitting that I should call your attention to the approach of the anniversary of the day upon which the flag of the United States was adopted by the Congress as the emblem of the Union, and to suggest to you that it should this year and in the years to come be given special significance as a day of renewal and reminder, a day upon which we should direct our minds with a special desire of renewal to thoughts of the ideals and principles of which we have sought to make our great Government the embodiment.

I therefore suggest and request that throughout the nation and if possible in every community the fourteenth day of June be observed as FLAG DAY with special patriotic exercises, at which means shall be taken to give significant expression to our thoughtful love of America, our comprehension of the great mission of liberty and justice to which we have devoted ourselves as a people, our pride in the history and our enthusiasm for the political programme of the nation, our determination to make it greater and purer with each generation, and our resolution to demonstrate to all the world its, vital union in sentiment and purpose, accepting only those as true compatriots who feel as we do the compulsion of this supreme allegiance. Let us on that day rededicate ourselves to the nation, "one and inseparable" from which every thought that is not worthy of our fathers' first vows in independence, liberty, and right shall be excluded and in which we shall stand with united hearts, for an America which no man can corrupt, no influence draw away from its ideals, no force divide against itself,-a nation signally distinguished among all the nations of mankind for its clear, individual conception alike of its duties and its privileges, its obligations and its rights.

Corey DeAngelis, the supposed expert is School Choice Education Reform, has a Doctorate from the University of Arkansas. His thesis is on The Societal Impacts of Private School Choice around the World In his abstract he sites Betsy DeVos as Secretary of Education. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Cato Institute. According to Forbes magazine he is also Director of School Choice, Reason Foundation in Washington DC, and he is a Senior Fellow at Betsy Devos’ American Federation for Children. His latest PR pitch is as an author of a new book titled, Parent Revolution.

15 pages of credentials, and expertise at only 30 yrs of age seems unimaginable. With his first child on the way, the most important expertise as a parent he does NOT have. How did a 30 year old man with no children become the leader of a ‘Parent Revolution’ in education reform?

Also important to note, DeAngelis has made his money over the years from grants given for him to prove how important the Global Revolution through Education is. And, he personally told me and Ginger Russell at the state capital, he is funded to do his School Choice lobbing by Betsy DeVos’ American Federation for Children.

In my humble opinion, Corey DeAngelis is well groomed and dangerously over educated.

The fact that Corey DeAngelis, the face of the “school choice” movement (who is traveling the nation and appearing in the media to advocate for these types of universal school choice bills to be passed) has been discovered to be an expert for UNESCO’s Inclusive Policy Lab and a member of their E- TEAM, Education and Digital Skills should be very concerning to you.

The purpose of UNESCO’sInclusive Policy Lab is to “help design and deliver more inclusive, equity-weighted, and SDG- oriented policies.” Considering that passing these bills would assist in making UNESCO’s vision of regulating private education become a reality, it begs the question as to why Corey DeAngelis is involved with both.

How can Abbott puppet Republicans say “School Choice” will pass? These people do not even know what is in the bill. They just say I am for “School Choice” and have no clue what is actually in the legislation.

In Texas, I have heard those pushing so-called “School Choice” say they are for ALL school choice options. They will say whatever they are pushing is just one more tool in the toolbox for parents to choose. This is a ridiculous statement. Not all school choice is the same. In fact, government regulated school choice limits parental rights, it does not expand it.”

I have a question for all elected officials, on both sides of the political aisle- Are you for Jeb Bush’s ExcelinEd and Obama’s yellow scarves School Choice Week?
