(Erstwhile SPCA NOIDA) Would like to thank:

* All the animal caregivers (Saniya, Abhinav, Deepali, and other volunteers on the ground) who got in touch with us & other organizations to rescue all the dogs from The Noida Twin Tower Demolition site. They worked relentlessly to find all the dogs.

* All the other AWOs who pitched in to help in the rescues (Dr. Devi, Friendicoes, and HSA).

* And most of all, Noida Authority and the DCP Police for their compassionate support in allowing our Ambulance inside the Twin Towers area on the last day, helping us rescue 6 more; our final sweep of the basement enabled us to find the last dog that had hidden there 🙏

This was Animal Welfare at its collaborative best!

His father U K Atheya was always very fond of large dairy animals while he, as a child, picked up street dogs out of love, care, brought them home and was scolded for doing so. However, despite not belonging to a business background and not choosing to become a vet like his father, he was encourged to nurture his animal love and convert it into business. After all, that's all he knew.

Rana Atheya took an initiative to help pet parents and was pushed by colleagues to give it formal name & shape. Soon he launched DogSpot which was eventually backed by Tata Sons Chairman Emeritus Mr. Ratan Tata, who is himself known for animal love and welfare activities.

"If we come to know a pet is hungry and parents have run out of supplies, we ensure delivery if it means losses to us."
