Be prepared for the rain. Sandbags are available to residents at the Public Works Maintenance Yard between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. It is recommended that residents bring a shovel and one other person to help fill the sandbags. There is no limit on the amount of sandbags residents may fill. To receive free sandbags, please report to the front office at the City Yard and show proof of residency.

After 2:30 p.m., sandbags may be filled at Fire Station 192 (520 S. Harbor) and Fire Station 193 (1000 W. Risner Way). For more information, please contact 562-383-4170.
