Happy Hump Day! Mid-week check-in! Not doing good with my water intake or my sleep! Late track meet, and waking up exhausted! Drinking too much coffee (is that a thing?)! I will not use it as an excuse to slip up!
How is everyone doing so far this week?

So I chaperoned my granddaughters field trip yesterday. It was fun, and I had no trouble walking around, and picking strawberries. The kids were running past schedule to get on the bus, so all the 1st graders got on the tractor wagon, and all the adults, and teachers got on the train to go back to the bus. The tractor wagon was full. I was too big to get in the train cart. I just said I’d walk back to get steps, but it made me feel humiliated and like crap. I have renewed motivation to take this weight off. I never want to not be able to participate in something because of my weight!

Today is my 10 year anniversary. My kids were grown and he had none when we married. I had 2 dogs and he had 1. Fast forward 10 years, we have two girls, 8 dogs, and an MS diagnosis. I weigh about 22 more pounds. Life moves fast and is full of surprises! This is why I’m striving to get healthy. I want to be around for my family and live my best life!

So we went to our dinner show last night. Ribs, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, coleslaw, salad, beans, corn bread, strawberry short cake. I tried some of everything (except the chicken). I ended up with a bad stomach ache the rest of the evening. Too much food, and too many carbs!

After swimming, my girls got Mac n cheese, and my dad a bbq sandwich with fries. We took it back to the cabin so I was able to fix me something. I ate two pb&j rolls, some popcorn, and a protein coffee. The rolls were good. I saved up the cals for a Dole Whip float!

We are here! After a nightmarish trip down, we finally made it to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground. I’m going from mom, and her healthy meals to dad with a cabin filled with Easter candy, Oreos, Tostitos, pizza, cheese dip, etc. I knew to pack my snacks, but it can be challenging with it out all the time!
My plan is to get up and go walking by myself in the morning!
