Ok so that's to everyone who supported me in this run but I wanted to give you alittle info on the contest cuz its kinda crazy.

For about two weeks people have been quietly telling me it's a scam. So I did alittle research. Here what I found out. It's a scam if you do t look deeper. Check out the prizes listed in the email they send people.

"Remember, tonight will determine if they continue on the path to take home $10,000, a 2-page feature in Star Magazine, and badges to Rose City Comic Con. Get your votes in early and take advantage of 2-for-1 Star Votes donations until 6PM PDT!

NOTE the 2 page spread... thats where part of the scam is... they charge you for that shoot in the sum of 40,000 that you will have to pay taxes. You can not choose your on photographer, and while I'm still on the fence on this being a scam is it for sure not cool, especially when you realize you get no credit for your work as the cosplayer or model.

The second part is the charity. Out of all the incoming they get in on this only 5% of thier profits for to the charity.

And lastly the con. Yes you get tickets to a con . You not a featured guest or any of this you get two like 40 dollar tickets to a con so far away the air fare itself would be close to the same price as the taxes you'll pay on a photo shoot you should not be charged for... yes I checked with a lawyer, they do not have to claim that as a taxable prize the way they are.

Anywho.... it was cool to be in a contest and I feel also honored for a hot second.. then reality set in.
