What is the common factor between Giorgio Moroder, Ray Mang, Leroy Burgess, Ilija Rudman and Newcleus?

Well, they are all part of the new MB DISCO label hailing from Sweden. It is masterminded by Martin Brodin, the founder of Deeplay Music. With this label he wanted to go back to his Disco roots. Disco Music has always been in Martin’s blood and now he felt it was time to play tribute to it. So how has he done it? The answer is very simple, mix up the old disco feeling with modern sound. We can cal

l it Nu-Disco, Post-Disco, Disco for 2010 or whatever suits you. For Martin it’s just about the feeling for what he believes is Disco. We will release old-skool super limited 10” vinyl records (yes we’re crazy!!) together with the modern digital downloads to keep our self in the loop of the todays business. If the legendary Loft was still around, people would probably jump around of joyness. Shining disco balls, hands in the air, roller skating girls, lollipops and a touch of Larry Levan. Marking the debut single from Swedish Disco Jets, they kick start proceedings in fine fashion & with a cover of a much loved classic.

Titled ’Don’t Stop The Dance’ & delivering a tasteful rendition of Bryan Ferry’s original of the same name, which was first released in 1985 & to worldwide acclaim - Swedish Disco Jets position the record to light up all over again.

With Swedish Disco Jets consisting of Chris Gustafsson aka Playmaker, along with MB Disco label head, Martin Brodin - their love of music blossomed in the 80’s era & this single pays homage to their youth. Between the pair, they’ve notched up releases on the likes of Subliminal, Southern Fried, Peppermint Jam, Buzzin’ Fly & many more.

Featuring Alexandra Hamnede (whose single ’Kissing’ by Danish group Bliss received widespread acclaim), along with Mikael Surdi - who was part of the Swedish act Physics & were championed by the likes of Francois K & Dimitri From Paris, stay tuned as promo for ’Don’t Stop The Dance’ gets underway.

To give you an idea, it will feature artists like Tensnake, Roosevelt, Purple Disco Machine, Yuksek, Todd Terje and everything in between.

Time for some disco action! Using some elements of the original, Swede Martin Brodin reworked the classic 1974 disco track Always Thinking Of You by Love Unlimited Orchestra (Barry White). He used the main hook effectively and added new vocals from talented Danish singer/songwriter Gregers. The latter had great success with No 1 chart spots on Beatport and Traxsource courtesy of his release on Defected Records. Martin is known for his remixes of iconic artists like Giorgio Moroder and Human League.

How Good You Feel is as it sounds, a feel good disco house tune that will surely get any party started.
