Another blatant LIE

No benefits are paid for having any health condition

These sh*t rags need shutting down for printing LIES!

Disability benefits are awarded based on how much your daily living is affected, NOT on whatever health conditions you have!

Daily Record DWP Head-lies

PIP and Adult Disability Payment are paid separately and do not affect Universal Credit or the benefit cap.

Another Birmingham bullsh*t story 😑

It's RETIREMENT MONEY. And a third of people who have missed this payment, are already dead

Like absolutely every other human that follows our calendar, if you are expecting a bill or payment on the 30th or 31st, it will present itself on the last day of this month, the 29th.

It has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with it being a leap year, if your payment is on the 31st, you'll find it presents a day early on 4 other months as well!

Absolute gutter sh*te from the squalid gutter press Birmingham Mail DWP Head-lies

Benefit payments are being made to thousands earlier than usual this month thanks to the Leap Year, with the DWP explaining exactly when each will land in accounts.

Absolutely pointless story, anyone who's claim is successful is told about additional benefits in the award letter

Backdating awards to the date of another claims award is also routine and NOT a gift, if the DWP sorted out claims within weeks instead of months, there would be no need to backdate payments

Acting as if their extended delays in processing claims are some sort of gift!

How about DISABLED PEOPLE FORCED TO WAIT MONTHS FOR THEIR ENTITLEMENTS AS THE DWP IS SO SHOCKINGLY CRAP AT THEIR JOB

Fixed it for ya Daily Record DWP Head-lies

An award for PIP or Adult Disability Payment could also lead to help with housing costs and Council Tax.

This is doing the rounds. It's not new, been available years, and it's not an automatic eligibility.

You have to be in receipt of the enhanced mobility component to qualify, so people who can't get around very much at all

It's also means tested, so if you live at home with parents and you get enhanced PIP, you'll likely not qualify

So to be eligible for free driving lessons, you've already got to be unable to get around, and you need to be living independently, unable to get around

This isn't a benefit or a gift, it's a necessity for the most severely disabled to help them with independence

Daily Record DWP Head-lies

Learner drivers will still need to pay for the costs of the theory and practical driving tests.

Oh dear, Stoke-on-Trent Live, why are you reporting the annual increase applied EVERY SINGLE YEAR SINCE CONCEPTION, as if it's a cost of living increase? ALL benefits increase in April, the fact that for years during low inflation claimants only got a few pence extra is soon forgotten, now inflation is more they're acting like it's a gift!

Benefits ALWAYS increase in April, in line with inflation rates, so this headline is completely misleading, the story completely irrelevant

Birmingham Live is a pure hate spreader, repeat offender.

PIP and DLA are NOT paid by condition, they are awarded based on how much your daily living is affected, so having a particular condition does NOT make you eligible for these benefits. This headline, along with the story, is absolute LIES.

Birmingham Live DWP Head-lies

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) gives disability living allowance (DLA) to people with certain disabilities including those with mobility issues or who need certain care.

First up is the Mirror, this headline is totally unrelated, the TRUTH is this money is a LOAN made available to STUDENTS IN SCOTLAND

The Mirror has obviously tried to link this to the recent Cost-of-Living payment issued to benefit claimants, worth £299. It's nothing to do with it

The Mirror DWP Head-lies

The extra support is being made available to university students in Scotland and is called the "Special Support Loan" - it will be available on top of the standard maintenance loan and grant which is currently £7,000 and £2,000
