An important aspect of Bitcoin to understand is its divisibility.
You don’t need to buy a whole Bitcoin all at once. You can invest and “stack sats” with whatever amount you feel comfortable with. This is how most people start their journey in Bitcoin.
Looking ahead, some people in the space are calling for Bitcoin to eventually become the world reserve currency, replacing the US Dollar. Possessing the characteristics of being a scarce asset with a finite supply, it’s been famously labelled as “digital gold”.

🚨 BREAKING: Pro-Bitcoin President, Nayib Bukele, wins re-election in landslide victory to serve a 2nd term in El Salvador 🇸🇻
Bukele made history back in September of 2021 by passing a law that saw El Salvador become the first country in the world to make Bitcoin legal tender.
Under his leadership, the country has been buying up Bitcoin over the past few years, with an estimated ~2,800 BTC in their portfolio. (~$120,000,000 USD).

Javier Millei, newly elected Libertarian President of Argentina (Dec 2023), took leadership of a country in economic turmoil with over 200% YoY inflation.
He announced earlier in January that contracts between any two parties in Argentina can be agreed upon in Bitcoin, among other currencies and cryptocurrencies.
Rather than printing more money and restricting citizens to their local peso that is being devalued at a shocking rate, this move helps to reduce government economic intervention and give people the freedom to select their preferred methods of transaction.
