Thanks again to Gerald Forrest over at the Real Gospel Chops for blessing me with these incredible sounding 15in Shed Hi-hats! I used them at my church for Thursday night rehearsal for the 1st time to get a feel for them in a live setting and then used them on both Sunday the 9am & 10:45am services (14APR2024) These are some very versatile cymbals! They have a smooth, silky tone that fits well in many different styles.

Thank God for a creative day! Today is a Good Day!

Throw Back Thursday The day was January 11, 2014 when my buddy & bandmate in Distant Towers , guitarist Tony Wood, shot this clip. I had worked hard from early fall 2013- December 2013 to get my studio construction completed and ready for recording. My bandmates had patiently waited almost 10 months between the time I dismantled the old studio and began work on the new one. They were chomping at the bit to get started again so I decided to work out the bugs as I began working on drum demos. This drum demo would be completed and become the first track, Black Death Hand, on the Shimmer Delight album. A small snippet of the finished track can be heard in the video at the beginning of this video. I'm grateful to have been blessed to upgrade my studio several times since this video was made almost 10yrs ago.
