Spring has arrived in Taguig, bringing a stunning display of pink trumpet flowers along the center island and bike lanes of the 7-kilometer Laguna Lake Highway (C6 Road).

For those who dream of seeing cherry blossoms but can't travel to Japan, a similar sight awaits you right here in the Probinsyudad. These pink trumpets (scientific name: Tabebuia rosea) can grow up to 30 meters tall and bloom in vibrant shades of pink from January to April.

This floral display began in 2015, under the initiative of Mayor Lani Cayetano and the City Environment and Natural Resources Office which successfully propagated these beautiful trees.

Beyond adding aesthetic value to the area, the initiative contributes to the greening efforts of Taguig and helps in reducing pollution in the City.
