Afternoon!

I'm just on my way to Johnstone for today's show (train is delayed but not stressing and using that extra time to post this and to listen to a wee bit more of the latest audio book I'm listening to)

Really looking forward to catching up with you from 2pm-4pm and have a (I think anyway) nice easy surprise singer track for you today)

Also reflecting on the happiness of live music and have been building this week's playlist based on gigs I've been to (which is a Looooong list and I'll explain more about that when I'm on air) BUT I don't just want to be playing my choices....I want your first gig and best gig stories and song choices.....nothing is too random or off limits. If I can find it online I can play it!

Monday comes around again and I'm looking forward to being back with you on Johnstone Sound at 2pm this afternoon for our Monday motivation show.

Wide range of stuff of today's playlist including song choices inspired by the aurora borealis appearances over the weekend and also Doctor who! You can of course poo in requests for your own happy/feel good songs and they can be as random as you like! (Which is why we ended up playing a song last week about wolves eating a banana!!! 🤣)

Happy Friday lovely people!

Hope you've had a wonderful week and are looking forward to a great weekend.

I've just about got Monday's show planned out in terms of a playlist but always time for a few more requests and song suggestions....no theme this week just your happy songs...the songs that for whatever reason make you smile, feel fuzzy or maybe even want to get up and dance!

Also a heads up that I'll have a guest on for a bit on Monday. My good friend Hazel, who works for Fibromyalgia action uk, will be joining me for a bit to chat about the condition, the work of the charity and also the Fibromyalgia paisley and Inverclyde network (a support group we are both on the committee of). This is something close to my heart and as, Sunday is international fibromyalgia awareness day it seems a good time to have Hazel on.

Happy Monday to you. How's your holiday weekend been. I had some family time and did some fun/interesting sightseeing over the weekend so I'm fortunate enough to be feeling happy this holiday Monday.

Amongst my work stuff today (which mainly consisted of finishing off a blog and doing some prep for a mindfulness session I'm facilitating on Monday morning) I've been tidying up the playlist for Mondays show

Hello!

I'm Amanda and I'll be your host on the "Monday motivation" show which will be broadcast on Johnstone sound every Monday from 2pm-4pm

The idea is to play good music, have good chats and generally put a bit of magic in everyone's Monday. That being said we don't do toxic positivity round here so if you're not feeling the good vibes share that with us and we'll pull together to help you find the silver lining in your cloudy sky till the better days come round.

I'm hoping this page will be a contact, contribution and community point for the show.... I want to hear your favourite songs (we'll do themes like summer, cosy and.....that other C word a little later in the year!!), the books, films and stuff that generally makes you feel good!
