Tired of the same old ‘What do you do?’ snooze-fest? 🥱 Let’s shake things up! Next time, ditch the job title and spill the tea on what makes you tick—your passions, your hobbies, your guilty pleasures.
Whether it’s your secret salsa dancing skills or your knack for gourmet cooking, let’s make our chats about what truly excites us.
Because guess what? Life’s too short to be defined by your 9-to-5 (in reality 9-6,7,8) 🌟
Remember, we’re more than our resumes!
I’ll go first: I play tennis 3x a week and my game is always better when I play with people who are better than me. It drives me to focus more on how they hit the ball to determine where it’s headed on the court. If I miss a ball I usually say say f@ck, sh$t or my softer version is frig. It’s more empowering than saying sorry.
I have a passion for creating unexpected portraits of friends and some randomly cool people who are up for being in front of my lens.
I’m jazzed knowing a friend is using a portrait I took of her for her interior design book with Random House coming out this summer while another friend is using one on her for the Spotify cover of her latest song release.

I was watching the morning news when they interviewed a reality show guest. During the segment, they played a clip where she cursed twice—and they forgot to bleep it out!
It reminded me of my biggest snafu when I accidentally cursed on live TV. 🙈
Instead of getting sidetracked, I quickly recovered, corrected myself, and moved on. Mistakes happen, but it’s how we handle them that truly matters.
Watch the full video to see how I turned a slip-up into a lesson in composure and covering.
What’s your most memorable ‘oops’ moment? 🌟

I’ve spent 20+ years interviewing celebrities, CEOs, experts and more. When it comes to media training clients, I’ve stressed that in many cases a great interview isn’t about the questions asked—it’s about the answers given. While people might forget the specific answers over time, they won’t forget the feeling you left with them. So, what feeling do you want to leave with your audience? When you know your message and the stories you want to share, and prepare ahead of time, you’re more likely to connect with viewers or listeners. Aim to leave a lasting impression that resonates beyond words.

Stop texting.
Let’s talk about connection. You know the kind where we actually hear each other’s voices. 🌟 In a world flooded with information, it’s not just about facts anymore – it’s about forging real connections.
That’s why I’m passionate about media training that goes beyond the basics. I don’t talk at you. We collaborate, engage and work together.
In my world, it’s all about being the expert who feels more like a friend sharing a story over coffee, rather than a lecturer at a podium. Because let’s face it, relatability and approachability are the keys to captivating your audience.
So, if you’re ready to start connecting with your audience, let’s chat. Whether it’s media training, on-camera coaching, or honing your public speaking skills, I’ve got your back. Let’s make you oh-so-watchable together! 💼🎤

Let’s talk real talk for a sec: authenticity is a winner in my experience. No filters, no facades – just you being you. We’re all guilty of using filters on photos occasionally, but when you face your audience in person it’s time to share just good ole you in your best way. I help you own your story, even your quirks and share it in a relatable way.

Strutting into International Women’s Day at KTLA like we own the place (because, let’s face it, female founders kinda do). 🌟 Today’s all about celebrating the sass, the class, and the kick-ass spirit of women who turn dreams into brands that dazzle. Here’s to laughing in the face of ‘can’t’, dancing past ‘shouldn’t’, and high-fiving every ‘why not?’ on our way. Ladies, your spark lights up the biz world brighter than a disco ball at a roller derby. Keep shining, keep climbing, and let’s keep showing ‘em how it’s done. 💃🚀

FRIYAY!

The Amsterdam art scene is epic. The museums, sculptures found on house boats to alley walls to the incredible street artists. We biked and took the ferry over to The STRAAT at the NDSM Wharf in the growing Amsterdam Noord neighborhood to wander in awe of the fantastic collection of international street artists. A must visit when in the city.

He had a big heart, literally and figuratively. We will never forget him. We adopted Player on Election Day over a year ago. An adorable, long and lanky eight year old Italian greyhound chihuahua mix. When Daysun Perkins wanted to adopt a second dog after our nearly 19 year old poodle died, I had one request and one wish. He had to be an older dog to be with us and our other dog Lucy, and I hoped he liked to snuggle.
He came to us with health issues - an enlarged heart like our dog Lucy, and a heart murmur. That didn’t stop him from being THE BEST snuggly boy. He had an incredible cardiologist and team @accessanimalhospitals. He loved leading the way on walks, he loved a chance to run and stretch those legs for short stints. He was between us every single night for sleep, and was the sweetest companion we ever could have hoped for. He just wanted to be with us, around us, and on us. He had a gentle disposition and looked liked a dapper gentleman anytime he sat and lifted a little paw.
We lost him too soon, but are grateful The Rescue Train brought him into our lives. His heart just couldn’t keep going so we had to say goodbye. We’re heartbroken, too.
May he be running free in grassy fields with all the chicken he wants, in a heaven full of angels looking to snuggle.
I read recently that we’re averaging 11 hours a day on our screens-working, school, scrolling, shopping, socializing, exercising and more. No wonder I was rubbing my eyes more and had more headaches. It was the harmful blue light emitted from all the screens that leads to eye strain, fatigue, effects skin health and has the potential to cause long term eye damage. BUT, now I’m blocking that damaging blue light with a smart and easy creation from a female founder. Tune in to HSN in the 10amET/7amPT hour (Sunday, 28th) to pick up Eyejust blue light blocking screen protectors for all your devices. I’m still working, scrolling and socializing, but now my eyes and my screens are protected.
