ChatGPT vs Photographer (me) editing photos

The 5 photos above were sent to me by my YouTube subscribers for my second episode of the “Fix it in Post” series I kicked off over at my channel recently. While working on that video/ making progress tackling these amazing photos I ran into a Tiktok video that said “I got ChatGPT to develop Lightroom Presets for me.”

I think I immediately stopped and went to go try it out and see if it was possible or not because if so this could be a game changer for the community. It did work btw lol.

So the video turned into me comparing the edits I did to these photos and Chatgpts edits it developed with presets.

I said this could be a game changer (like everything else ai is already doing) because presets in the photography community are a big source of revenue for famous photographers. They market them as “this is how you can edit like me”. But the problem with it that I’ve run across is you buy a lot of bad ones lol.

This long thing ties back to the excitement that I have with ai programs. As I said to my brother you can use these for Good or Evil. The good is it's uncovering necessary information, as creatives who are doing this on our own, to obtain that has been put behind a paywall.
