Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the tragic events that unfolded in New Orleans’ French Quarter early this morning. A man drove a pickup truck into a crowd on Bourbon Street, resulting in the loss of at least 10 lives and injuries to more than 30 individuals. We extend our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims, and we stand in solidarity with the people of New Orleans during this difficult time.

Hi, I’m Sarah Coupland,

I’m a wife and mother to two beautiful kids! I’ve been an entrepreneur since I was 16, learning the ins and outs of marketing, business, and resilience through real-life experiences. For eight years, I ran a thriving soap business, overcoming challenges and celebrating successes—until COVID reshaped my path. That journey taught me the value of adaptability and the importance of strong marketing strategies, which I now use to help small businesses grow where I once struggled. I have a background in business and graphic design. I also worked for my husband’s family sign shop for 4+ years.

Today, I manage social media for diverse businesses, serve on four nonprofit boards, and work with industries ranging from food to construction. I also teach classes to help others take charge of their social media, whether they want to grow their own business or become social media managers themselves. My goal is to empower people to turn their skills into thriving side hustles or full-time careers.

One of the nonprofits I’m proud to serve is dedicated to helping small businesses grow, expand, and thrive. Through this work, we teach business owners how to apply for grants, loans, and other opportunities they may not know are available to them.

I’m Meta-certified, working on additional certifications, and deeply community-oriented. Whether it’s supporting local businesses, volunteering with nonprofits, or equipping others with tools for success, I’m passionate about fostering connections and empowering growth.

📊 Know Your Audience: For pages with under 10,000 followers, frequent posts can result in fewer clicks per post. But for larger pages, strategic posting (31-60 times/month) can increase visibility.

Scammers don’t just target businesses—they target individuals too. Protect yourself and your loved ones with these tips:

1. Spot Fake Profiles: Be cautious of friend requests or followers from accounts with few posts, no profile picture, or suspiciously perfect photos.

2.Beware of Phishing Links: Avoid clicking on links from unknown senders in DMs, emails, or comments—especially those promoting “must-watch” videos or “exclusive” products like shirts or merch.

3. Event Hosts—Double-Check Coordination: If you're attending or involved in an event, always reach out directly to the official host. Never pay or coordinate with someone claiming to act on their behalf unless you’ve confirmed their legitimacy.

4. Verify Before You Buy: Only shop from trusted accounts and websites. Scammers often create fake ads or profiles to steal your money.

5. Don’t Overshare: Be mindful of what you post publicly. Personal details like your full name, address, or vacation plans can make you a target.

6. No Upfront Payments: Avoid paying for “prizes,” “investment opportunities,” or “exclusive deals” that seem too good to be true.

7. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Adding an extra layer of security to your accounts makes it harder for scammers to hack you.
