🐝 Meet Tye Rivers, Our Hive Coordinator!

Some of you may already know Tye, from her amazing local business, Nature’s Veil, or her time she spends volunteering at the La Porte Animal
shelter. She’s been working alongside us for a while now, and we’re excited to officially welcome her as our Hive Coordinator! 💛

Tye is a full-time teacher during the school year, but this summer you’ll be seeing her around more often as she helps us get organized and coordinated at both The Social Hive and the Bay Area Observer.

With her passion for community, creative spirit, and heart for helping small businesses thrive, Tye is a natural fit for our hive. We’re thrilled to have her support as we continue growing, creating, and connecting.

The Social Hive is hitting the road, and growing its roots!

We have been working on these things for MONTHS! But one thing lead to another and it kept getting pushed back. Now it’s time!

Introducing the Hive Pop-Up Series, part of our exclusive Social Hive Influencer Tours! Each month, we spotlight a local business with a custom event designed to draw a crowd, generate buzz, and get your brand in front of real people, online and in person.

From networking nights and tasting experiences to behind-the-scenes tours and themed attractions, we bring the people, the cameras, and the energy to showcase what makes your business shine.

But that’s just the beginning…

The Social Hive and now the Business Center (new location) was built from a vision, to give small businesses the tools, exposure, and space they need to grow. And now, it’s here.

🐝 Monthly curated boxes filled with your products, offers, and business highlights, delivered directly to potential customers, influencers, and buyers.

🐝 In-house podcast and content creation studio, complete with equipment you can use to film, record, and tell your story professionally.

🐝 A monthly events calendar where we bring the community to you, building local support one meaningful connection at a time.

This isn’t just marketing. This is movement. There is more to marketing than an online presence. Community is key.

Before the surgery happened I was in the works for expanding social hive! So I’ve been sitting on this for a while, but I’m opening a Business Center under The Social Hive, a space created to support small businesses, entrepreneurs, and anyone ready to take the next step.

Inside, you’ll find:
• A print hub for resumes, flyers, packets, and forms
• Form assistance and business document resources
• Professional-led classes on topics like marketing, bookkeeping, insurance, branding, and more!
• Business starter kits + promotional products to help you launch and grow and a directory of vendors and other businesses you can outsource or trade services with!

This will be a true one-stop shop for business support, resources, and real-world guidance.

I’m also looking for professionals who’d like to teach classes or lead workshops. If you have experience in a field and want to share your knowledge, whether it’s creative, legal, business, finance, health, or trade-based, let’s talk.
