Spot seals 🦭 and build a sand castle 🏖️at the Don mouth. A short walk away is the Brig o’Balgownie, the oldest bridge in Britain! Completed around 1320 🤯. Then just around the corner is the stunning Seaton Park 🌳 You really couldn’t ask for more.
🚗You can park your car at Seaton Park, or the Donmouth local nature reserve.
🚍Alternatively there are plenty of busses which will stop at
🚏Lord Hay’s Road or
🚏Donmouth Road
both very close to all 3 locations

☀️Summer is calling! What a gorgeous walk around Cambus o’May the other day. With the sun shining and the birds chirping, it was just perfect!
There is a bus stop directly opposite the start of this walk and it’s the 201 which runs from Aberdeen to Ballater
🚍Cambus o’May Forest Walk Centre
I took the red trail (around 2.5km) as parts of the longer yellow trail (4.3km) are currently closed! This trail passes a pair of picture-perfect lochans nestled amid the pines and Douglas firs. There is also a shorter blue trail (1km) which loops around the first Lochan.
With views over to the snow covered famous Lochnagar or Beinn Chìochan, what more could you ask for! 😍Have you ever explored this stunning place?

📍Inverbervie to Gourdon, Aberdeenshire, Scotland 🏴
A lovely costal walk from Inverbervie to Gourdon⚓️ There is a a very flat path (if you chose not to venture off into the mud like me) which would be great for wheelchairs or buggies. You can also walk along to Johnshaven by continuing along the costal path if you wish! 🌊
Make sure to stop off at @berviephoenix like I did before you start and grab yourself a snack for along the way! 😋
